Frozen Orange BMW M4 Pays Homage to Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee

When someone mentions the iconic General Lee, people immediately think of a 1969 Dodge Charger with a Dixie horn jumping over broken bridges. That’s usuallythe case if you live in the US, but over in Europe, getting a hold of a classic Charger is a lot harder than you may think. Therefore, fans of the Dukes of Hazzard must get creative; something along the lines of what this particular BMW M4 owner did, transforming his M4 into a sort of replica of the famous car.

As you can notice, the Bimmer received a Frozen Orange wrap on the outside, complete with the confederate flag on the roof and the ’01’ numbers on the door, just as the original used to have. Furthermore, Bo and Daisy’s names have been added to the rear windows as a homage to the characters in the show. You’ll also notice a twist from Germany in this mix, apart from the car, of course. According to the uploader, the name of this car is Germany Lee, even though it doesn’t really make sense to us.

Up front there’s a carbon fiber spoiler attached to the front bumper, something that would surely come off at the first jump this car would make, if it was to replicate the adventures of the original General Lee. There’s also a Milltek exhaust installed on it, one that does improve the sound of the 3-liter straight six engine under the hood. However, it can’t match the sound of the original naturally aspirated V8 of the Charger.

Overall, the car definitely achieved its purpose as it seemed to attract a lot of attention from the people participating in the Supercar Sunday event where the footage below was shot.
