BMW M2 Showcases A The Vorsteiner VRS Aero Rear Diffuser
April 11, 2017Some BMW M2 owner are eagerly awaiting for Vorsteiner to release carbon-fiber goodies for the coveted high-performance coupe. After all, they have teased us quite a bit. Now, the California based tuner released a small teaser of the upcoming VRS BMW M2 aero program. Namely, they are giving us a detailed showcase of the Vorsteiner VRS Aero rear diffuser. The Mineral Gray BMW M2 is also outfitted with a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 106 Flow Forged wheels.
When you take into account that the M2 is powered by a 3.0-liter straight-six engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology delivering 370 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, it becomes evident that some owners wish to take its exterior look to more aggressive level. While purists will sneer at the mere idea of changing the perfectly balanced aerodynamics traits of the car in question, there’s more than enough owners that will have a need to further accentuate its exterior looks and improve its aerodynamics performance.
The Vorsteiner VRS rear diffuser is made from pre-preg carbon fiber. In turn, it’s lightweight and strong. The rather tame design, mostly oriented towards improving the M2’s rear-end airflow, is something that caters to both those that like a stylish aftermarket touch and those that want to keep things classy overall. The resulting look is aggressive, but not that in your face look on the car’s rear end. A perfect choice for a vehicle like the M2 for sure.
Additionally, Vorsteiner added a set of their V-FF 106 wheels to this vehicle. These come in sizes of 20×9 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear. Thanks to the Carbon Graphite finish – working in unison with the Mineral Gray Metallic exterior finish of the vehicle – they deliver quite a great look for the M2.
